October 29th and November 1st, 2007 - Here is our second 4D Video and 3D Pics at 32 weeks! I trimmed it down from about 25 minutes to 5 minutes. We had to go in twice and Mr. Kale Singh would NOT cooperate either time, which is why the pics/video are so unclear. He either had is umbilical cord in the way or his hands. Guess he already wants to teach Mommy some patience!
November 3rd, 2007 - I had the best shower a girl could ever hope for. Click here for the shower pics and details!!
And finally, unfortunately, we are getting to know our hospital really well. On Sunday October 28th, 2007, Jason dislocated his shoulder and we spent all night in the ER with 4 nurses and 2 doctors trying to pop it back into place for about an hour. Very painful!! They finally gave him 2 extra med doses to knock him out and then had to inject him with more meds cause he wouldn't wake up. A very long night to say the least. Then on November 9th (almost at 34 weeks), my hands and arms were going completely numb and I had a headache for 24 hours that I couldn't get rid of with tylenol. Doc told me to come on in and sent me to labor and delivery for monitoring to make sure I didn't have pregnancy induced hypertension, even though my blood pressure was fine. While there, I started having contractions that the nurse could see on her monitor- though they didn't feel any different to me than the braxton hicks ones I'd been having, the doc was alarmed. They checked my cervix and it was completely closed so I was sent home with a diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome and a sinus infection. Basically, my hands will be swollen like sausages, numb, and in pain until Kale is born - yippee! But all is good and it looks like Kale will be waiting a little longer before making his grand entrance into the world - thank goodness. |
